Improving scores starts with advanced preparation. The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test® (FCAT) is part of Florida’s plan to increase student achievement by measuring student progress toward meeting the Sunshine State Standards (SSS). Administered to students in grades 3-11, the FCAT consists of tests in mathematics, reading, science and writing. The specific FCAT tests your child will take are given in the chart below.
